When you may be eligible for a replacement, store credit, or refund
You may qualify if:
You received incorrect or missing items
Your order arrived with damaged or compromised packaging (leaking, opened, torn, or broken seal)
Shipped orders (FedEx Overnight): a verified carrier delay caused the product to arrive in an unsafe condition
Local delivery: the wrong order was delivered or packaging arrived compromised
Reporting timeframes
Temperature / damage / quality concerns: contact us within 4 hours of delivery
Missing or incorrect items: contact us within 24 hours of delivery
What we need to process a claim

Clear photos of:
the outer box/bag
the inside packaging/ice packs (if applicable)
each item with the label visible
any damage/leaks (close-up)
Local delivery (within 35 miles)
For convenience, orders may be left at your door or designated drop-off location unless you request otherwise.
Once delivery is confirmed, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Theft after confirmed delivery
Orders left unattended for extended periods
Improper storage or handling after delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a safe and secure delivery location and refrigerating/freezing items as soon as possible.

What to Do When You Receive Your MEATGO Box
To ensure freshness and food safety, please follow these simple steps when your order arrives.
Open and Check
*Open your box as soon as it arrives. *Meat may arrive frozen or partially thawed this is normal. *All products should feel cold to the touch. *If the meat is cold (40°F or below), it is safe.
Store Properly
*Frozen products: Place directly in the freezer. *Refrigerated products: Store in the fridge and use within 2–3 days.*When in doubt, freezing is always the safest option. *Do not leave meat at room temperature.
Safe Thawing Methods
*Always thaw meat using one of these methods: *Refrigerator (recommended): Thaw overnight *Cold water: Keep package sealed and change water every 30 minutes*Never thaw meat at room temperature.
